This rod was built to be light, sensitive and perfectly balanced. The Micro Honeycomb rod is like other super high end rods as far as weight and sensitivity, but this rod is affordable and features new micro guides for long and accurate casts. Three separate layers of 100% high-modulus carbon are wrapped around a high-density graphite core, reinforced by woven fibers and bound together by our proprietary resin to create an extremely light, incredibly sensitive rod. Carbon construction delivers unparalleled performance without sacrificing strength and durability. Micro Honeycomb blanks and micro guides are engineered to work together to increase sensitivity, feel and casting accuracy. Micro guides scientifically placed using Wright and McGill's exclusive advanced guide placement (AGP) ensures superior casting performance.
