Thanks to Shimano's exclusive Unifiber Construction that chemically bonds 3 different composites including carbon for sensitivity and T-glass for durability, Voltaeus rods are lighter, more sensitive, and more durable than almost any other fishing rod. The rods are equipped with stainless steel guides for corrosion protection and are perfectly suited for use with PowerPro braided line as well as monofilament. The custom designed Graphite reel seats provide secure reel placement and decrease the overall weight. The Voltaeus rods defy the expectation that ultra durable rods have to feel heavy--Voltaeus rods are ultra-durable while they remain light in weight and pleasurable to fish with truly defined actions and high-tech components.
